On the article Update: Community Mourns Brendan Murray

ReplyIt was always fun to see Brendan on the sidelines, even when he was hurt he supported his beloved Vikings team mates. he would always have something to say about the game, the officials or even himself and was just one of those kids that really "got it" when it came to team sports and being a leader. The world lost an assett this week, some one whose energy will be sorely missed. God bless his family and long time girfriend Jess, I know you are hurting, people are here for you as you are a special person and your strngth and courage will hopefully help the Murray family cope with such a tragic loss.

ReplyGreat job Teresa, a subject that won't go away but needs a forum to discuss. Speaking as someone who uses 422 probably six times a day, It would be ridiculous to pay tolls all day and I would probably have to find additional jobs....Or maybe I could take the subway, oops forgot there is none. I agree with William that politicians should represent the peoples interests that got them elected and not have their own agenda, which appears in this case to be happening.
Also what aboput the bottle necks that would be created if their were toll plazas scattered throug out the 422 corridor. Has any one tried to drive through Collegeville now at 8 am or at 4 pm . It takes more than a half hour on average to drive from the bridge entering Collegeville to the Augustus Church that signifies the Trappe borough line. It is three miles and it takes 30 minutes now, can you imagine how snarled traffic would be with additonal people, who could not afford the tolls abondonding 422. UUUGGGGGHHHH
They need to come up with a proposal to build an additonal bridge at Betzwood, one for each way to break up the morning grid lock, Perhaps a toll at the bridge only, as they have it along the Delaware, the bridge is where it backs up any way so waiting at a toll plaza may even break up the traffic and spread it out. Thanks for the story.. -

ReplyOMG ... I am so sorry to hear this, The Norchester American legion program was raising money during the Region Three tournament for Gabby when I was there as a photographer. As a father of a seven-year-old princess, I cannot imagine, nor should any one have, how to cope with the loss of such a precious life. It is time for our ample financial resources as a country to be used to treat and cure horrible diseases like this instead of waging war on the planet and any one who dares offend us. If half of the money that is wasted every year doing research on whether or not cock roaches migrate (maybe not that, but you get the point) perhaps we could eradicate viruses and diseases that claim far too many lives. Ok, rant over.....Rest in peace Gabby and god bless her friends and family.
