Cold Weather Causes Seneca Valley to Issue Two-Hour Delay For Wednesday
Kindergarten will run on a modified schedule.
After two days off because of Martin Luther King Day Monday and a previously scheduled in-service day Tuesday, Seneca Valley students will get a late start to class Wednesday. Due to the extremely cold temperatures in the area, including a wind chill advisory issued by the National Weather Service, the district is on a two-hour delay with modified kindergarten for Jan. 23. When Seneca Valley calls for a two-hour delay, the kindergarten schedule is as follows: Cranberry’s Center for Early Education also will run on a modified schedule. Morning preschool will meet from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Afternoon preschool will meet from 1:30 to 3 p.m. All other programs will run as scheduled.
