UPDATED: Local Men Charged with Beating Cranberry Teen Over Stolen Snowboard
Chris Holden and Christopher Dahlstrom will go before Magisterial District Judge David Kovach for a preliminary hearing on May 18.
Two teens as of Wednesday were in Butler County Jail on charges they beat up a 16-year-old Cranberry boy on Monday over a stolen snowboard. Chris Robert Holden, 18, of Northfield Drive in Cranberry, and Christopher Dahlstrom, 19, of Bristol Drive in Seven Fields, were charged with burglary, simple assault, harassment with subjecting another person to physical contact, intimidation of a witness, criminal trespass, conspiracy to commit burglary and criminal use of a communications facility. According to the criminal complaint that Cranberry police filed, Holden and Dahlstrom pushed their way into the 16-year-old's home on Peters Road at about 2:40 p.m. and began attacking him.
