You Tell Us: Where is the Best Place To Celebrate St. Patrick's Day?

So, Patch readers: Where do YOU go either in the Cranberry area -- or Western PA to celebrate the green on March 17? If you don't see your favorite Irish pub, please be sure to add it to our map!

Patch asked for your favorite St. Patrick's Day gathering places around Western Pennsylvania, and you answered! An interactive map of reader-recommended places to gather March 17 is posted above. So if you're looking for a place to enjoy a great Guinness while wearing green, be sure to check out the posted suggestions. Locally, the Cranberry Sports Grille on Freedom Road in Cranberry is offering a number of drink and foods specials, Irish music and dancing at family friendly events Saturday, March 16 (known as "St. Practice Day") and Sunday, March 17. Readers’ Choice: Where's Your Favorite Place to Go for St. Patrick's Day?

Top o’ the morning to you! For this week’s Readers’ Choice Poll, we’re soliciting nominations for places to go in the Cranberry area to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, which is this Saturday. Are you heading to Houlihan’s in the Streets of Cranberry? Or maybe to Primanti Brothers on Freedom Road or the historic Harmony Inn? Pittsburgh band No Bad Ju Ju is playing at Jergel's Rhythm Grille in Warrendale for its St. Patrick's Day celebration. Or, if you’re not inclined to drinking green beer early in the morning, the nonprofit Friends of the Zelienople-Harmony Park is holding the Shamrock Shuffle half marathon and 5K run and walk. What’s going on in your child’s school? Find out in person when Seneca Valley school officials meet at 8 p.m. Monday at the Intermediate High School in Jackson Township. The board is expected to vote on the first reading of a revised student wellness policy as well as the second reading of a new allergy policy. Every year students at Seneca Valley Middle School have an opportunity to display some of their artwork at the Cranberry Municipal Center on Rochester Road.
