One of the three $1 million winning Powerball tickets in Pennsylvania was sold in Butler County, the Pennsylvania Lottery confirmed Thursday afternoon. The winning ticket, which matched the first five numbers, but missed the Powerball number, was sold at the Planet Mart convenience store near Saxonburg, according to the lottery. The other two $1 million winning Powerball tickets in Pennsylvania were sold in Altoona and Montgomery County. Lottery officials said they would not know the identities of the winners until they come forward and claim their prize by calling them at 717-702-8146. There could be a new millionaire living in the Cranberry area. The Pennsylvania lottery confirmed one Powerball ticket worth $1 million was sold at the Cranberry Shop ‘n Save on Freedom Road Friday. As of Tuesday morning, store manager John Barley said no one has stepped forward yet to claim the winning ticket. “We’re all anxious to see who it is,” said Barley, who added he hopes it is one of the grocer’s regular customers. The numbers on the ticket, 05-06-13-36-50, correctly matched all five white balls, but not the red Powerball 13, for a $1 million second-tier prize. The Market District in Pine Township sold one of four $1 million top-prize winning tickets from Saturday's Millionaire Raffle drawing, according to Pennsylvania Lottery news release. Pennsylvania Lottery retailers in Fayette, Luzerne and Wayne counties also sold $1 million top-prize winning tickets.
