Kourtnie Regan lives in Seven Fields.
Seneca Valley High School has another teen queen. Kourtnie Regan, 17, was crowned Miss Butler County USA 2013 during the pageant held earlier this week at Kean Theatre in Richland Township. The Seven Fields resident also was named Miss Photogenic. The Miss Butler County USA pageant is an official preliminary to the Miss Pennsylvania USA Pageant, which leads to the national televised Miss USA pageant owned by the Miss Universe organization. As the Miss Butler County USA 2013 winner, Regan will receive automatic entry into the 2014 Miss Pennsylvania USA pageant. A senior at Seneca Valley High School, Hannah O’Donoghue will take part in this weekend's pageant.
As she competed in her very first beauty pageant last December, Hannah O’Donoghue could hardly believe it as her named was called out as winner of the Miss Butler County USA contest “It was awesome,” she said. “I cried.” The Cranberry teen now has a chance to bring home an even bigger title—Miss Pennsylvania USA. A senior at Seneca Valley High School, O’Donoghue, 18, will compete for the crown at the Miss Pennsylvania USA pageant this weekend at the Hyatt Regency Hotel at the Pittsburgh International Airport in Moon. As Miss Butler County USA 2012, O’Donoghue receives automatic entry into the Miss Pennsylvania USA pageant, where contestants range in age from 18 to 26. 2011 was a year of firsts for Seneca Valley senior Kelly Cundiff. Last December, the 18-year-old, with some nudging from a friend, entered the Miss Butler County USA pageant. The Cranberry teen, whom Kane Modeling School & Agency in Butler now represents, had never entered a beauty contest before. To her surprise, she took home the crown. “I didn’t have any expectations for it,” she said. “It was my first time doing a pageant or modeling, so it was surprising.” She was equally surprised earlier this month when she selected as the fourth runner-up out of 54 participants in the 2012 Miss Pennsylvania USA pageant.
