Update: Adams Police Identify Drivers in Myoma Road Crash

The road was shut down for about three hours Tuesday after one of the cars in the two-vehicle crash caught fire.

Adams Township Police continue to investigate a car crash that sent two people to the hospital and shut down Myoma Road for about three hours Tuesday afternoon. Police Chief Bill Westerman said Michael Bobbish Jr., 42, of Mars, was driving on Myoma Road towards Mars-Evans City Road at about 2 p.m. when he crossed the center line of the road and lost control of the vehicle. The car struck Sara Thompson, 83, who was driving a Chrysler sedan in the opposite direction. “She tried getting away from him, but he came back across and ended up hitting her head on,” Westerman said. The Nissan Bobbish was driving erupted in flames after the collision, Westerman said. Both Bobbish and Thompson got out of their cars before police arrived on the scene, …
