Jackie Evancho Performs 'Ave Maria,' 'Dark Waltz' on 'Dancing With the Stars'
Jackie tweets her support of fellow classical crossover singer Katherine Jenkins, who is a contestant on DWTS.
It's not often that you see the performer applauding after her own performance, but that is what Jackie Evancho did tonight on ABC's Dancing With the Stars. Not once, but twice. Of course, she wasn't clapping for herself. First, Jackie applauded the dance performance of William Levy and Cheryl Burke, who danced the Viennese waltz while Jackie sang "Ava Maria" for classical night. Later in the show, Jackie sang "Dark Waltz" during the pro dance performance with Tristan MacManus and Karina Smirnoff. Before the show, she tweeted a show of support for her fellow classical crossover artist Katherine Jenkins, who teamed up with dancer Mark Ballas to vie for the Mirrorball Trophy on DWTS.
