No one is seriously injured, although an employee said she had to dive out of the way of the oncoming van.
Sales staff member Dee Zokaites had just walked over to the coffee machine located near the window of the Casa D’Oro Jewelers shop inside the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel in Marshall Township when she glanced up and saw a van heading to the building. How does a modern community commemorate the deliverance of its ancestors from the wrath of an evil sycophant in ancient Persa? How does it honor the finesse of a tactful queen in outwitting a palace full of drunken courtiers, and how does it celebrate the higher power of family ties? In Cranberry, it’s done with a bountiful bagel brunch buffet followed by a dramatic re-telling of the biblical Story of Esther, which will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 11 at the Pavilion Café inside the Four Points by Sheraton Pittsburgh North in Cranberry. The Cranberry Jewish Community Association—which was formed two years ago to foster fellowship and promote cultural events among Cranberry-area Jewish residents—will celebrate its second …
