Cranberry Reviewing Plans for New Retail Development, Restaurant

Cranberry Crossroads West is proposed to be located next to the new Dick’s Sporting Goods store.

Dick’s Sporting Goods, La-Z-Boy Furniture, Noodles & Company, GetGo and more all have opened within the last few months at the Cranberry Crossroads development on Route 228, but construction near Cranberry’s latest shopping plaza isn’t done yet. Cranberry planning officials are reviewing plans submitted by ECHO Realty, the Pittsburgh-based real estate company that developed the complex, for Cranberry Crossroads West. Plans for the anticipated space include 12,106 square feet of retail space and a 5,500 square foot restaurant on 4.4 acres of property located adjacent to the Cranberry Crossroads shopping complex. Juniper Grill on the Way, Noodles & Company, Men’s Wearhouse Opening Soon at Cranberry Crossroads

An upscale eatery specializing in southwest cuisine, Juniper Grill is the latest business coming to the Route 228 retail center.

The parking lot at the new Cranberry Crossroads shopping center is about to get a whole lot busier. Already home to the new two-story Dick’s Sporting Goods, which opened in October, the retail center on Route 228 has several more businesses on the verge of opening, including Noodles & Company, Men’s Wearhouse and Verizon. A fast casual chain specializing in noodle dishes from Thailand to Italy, Noodles & Company is expected to open in the first or second week of December, according to ECHO Realty, the development company behind Cranberry Crossroads. The restaurant, which has already locations in Market Square in Pittsburgh and Forbes Avenue in Oakland, also serves sandwiches, soups and salads. Men’s Wearhouse, a chain retailer selling …
