Butler County Man, Woman to Stand Trial on Drug, Theft Charges After Walmart Heist

Kayleigh Ann Senopole and Spencer Everett Collins are charged with fleeing the Walmart in Cranberry with stolen Playstation game controllers.

A Butler County man and woman will stand trial on drug and theft charges after they fled from the Walmart in Cranberry with game controllers they planned to sell to support a heroin addiction, police said. In addition to the controllers, 26-year-old Kayleigh Ann Senopole, of Kingford Lane, Karns City, and 25-year-old Spencer Everett Collins, of Landgraf Road, Chicora, were found with a stolen book titled Temptation, numerous stamp bags and other drug paraphernalia when police stopped them on Lindsay Road in Jackson Township,  according to the criminal complaint filed by Cranberry Township Police. Stamp bags—sold to stamp collectors to store stamps—are sometimes used to package heroin because powder does not stick to the waxed finish. …

District Court: Drug and DUI Charges

The following people were charged and waived their scheduled July 6 preliminary hearings before District Judge David Kovach in Cranberry. Matthew Daniel Anderson, 23, of Upper Service Road, Hookstown, was charged with four counts of possession of drugs with the intent to deliver, two counts of criminal use of a communications facility and two counts of intentional possession of a controlled substance. On May 12, 2009, a confidential informant working with Cranberry Township police and the Butler County Drug Task Force arranged to purchase marijuana from Anderson through cell phone and text communication, according to the criminal complaint filed by Cranberry Township police. The following people were charged and waived their scheduled Feb. 3 and Feb. 10 preliminary hearings before District Judge David Kovach in Cranberry. Cranberry Township police charged two men with stealing a woman’s wallet while she was shopping at the Giant Eagle in Seven Fields and with using her credit card to buy a prepaid Visa gift card valued at $250 from the Walgreens in Adams Township. James Patrick McConeghy, 32, of Gill Hall Road, Clairton, was charged with theft, receiving stolen property, and conspiracy to commit theft. Matthew Clyde McCracken, 24, of East Brady Street, Butler, was charged with using an access device without permission, conspiracy to used the access device, and receiving stolen property. Charles Robert Reis, 24, of Summerfield Drive, Baden, faces formal arraignment Sept 26 on seven counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, one count of driving under the influence and illegal parking. According to the criminal complaint, Cranberry Township police found Reis passed out in the driver’s seat of a car about 1:15 p.m. June 4 at the intersection of Route 19 and Route 228. The car was stopped in the northbound through lane of Route 19, the complaint said. It wasn’t the first time. One day earlier, Cranberry officers found Reis passed out in the driver’s seat in a different car at the intersection of Freedom Road with the exit of the Cranberry Mall. Area Police Celebrate Drug Collection Success, Prepare for Fall Event

Among 65 participating counties in Pennsylvania, Allegheny County ranked first, Washington County, ninth.

Allegheny County is No. 1, according to a statewide tally of prescription drug collection in the most recent national Drug Take-Back initiative. Among 65 participating counties, Allegheny County ranked first, collecting nearly 2,150 pounds; Washington County ranked ninth, collecting 705 pounds. The program is a collaborative effort between the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and state and local law enforcement agencies to rid the country of unwanted prescription drugs and prevent abuse. For many local departments, this was the second collection date since the program began on Sept. 25, 2010. A North Hills man is in Butler County Jail awaiting formal arraignment on drug charges after state Attorney General narcotic agents arrested him as part of an undercover drug operation. Joshua Adam Seritti, 23, of West Ingomar Road is charged with two counts of possessing a controlled substance, two counts of possession with intent to deliver, two counts of conspiracy and two counts of criminal use of a communication facility. Police said that on February 25 a confidential informant met Seretti at his home before following him to the Red Roof Inn in Cranberry to buy drugs from people staying at the hotel. The informant was given $9,390 in official funds, which was used to purchase 1,832 bags of heroin, according to the complaint. On March …
