Cranberry Crossroads West, Farmers Bank a Go in Cranberry

Officials also approve plans for the first phase of a new neighborhood located near the Cranberry Highland golf course.

More development is in the works for Cranberry Township. At Thursday’s Board of Supervisors meeting, Cranberry officials approved plans for the Cranberry Crossroads West retail complex on Route 228, a Farmers Bank on Route 19 and a new neighborhood to be located at the intersection of Glen Eden and Freshcorn roads.  Here’s a breakdown of the new projects coming up in the community Cranberry Crossroads West Located adjacent to the already-established Cranberry Crossroads development on Route 228, the Cranberry Crossroads West retail complex includes 12,106 square feet of retail space and a 5,500 square foot restaurant on 4.4 acres of property. I agree with Patty. So many vacant retail spaces already out there.... Too many new neighborhoods going in... And the roads in Cranberry are not equipped to handle the amount of traffic! Ever get caught in rush hour traffic on Freedom Road. What a nightmare!!   more ›

Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza a Step Closer to Opening in Cranberry

Officials approve a liquor license transfer for the restaurant.

An Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza is a stop closer to construction in Cranberry. At Wednesday’s Board of Supervisors meeting, Cranberry officials voted unanimously to approve a liquor license transfer for the restaurant, which is slated to be located in the Cranberry Crossroads West retail complex that’s proposed to be located adjacent to the already-established Cranberry Crossroads development on Route 228. A public hearing on Cranberry Crossroads West, which includes 12,106 square feet of retail space and a 5,500 square foot restaurant on 4.4 acres of property, also was held Wednesday. Cranberry Reviewing Plans for New Retail Development, Restaurant

Cranberry Crossroads West is proposed to be located next to the new Dick’s Sporting Goods store.

Dick’s Sporting Goods, La-Z-Boy Furniture, Noodles & Company, GetGo and more all have opened within the last few months at the Cranberry Crossroads development on Route 228, but construction near Cranberry’s latest shopping plaza isn’t done yet. Cranberry planning officials are reviewing plans submitted by ECHO Realty, the Pittsburgh-based real estate company that developed the complex, for Cranberry Crossroads West. Plans for the anticipated space include 12,106 square feet of retail space and a 5,500 square foot restaurant on 4.4 acres of property located adjacent to the Cranberry Crossroads shopping complex.
