You’re Invited: Meet Cranberry’s Manager for Coffee

The community-based conversations series with Jerry Andree is back.

You're invited to meet with Cranberry manager Jerry Andree over coffee. Cranberry's popular Community Coffee series will kick off its 2013 season with plenty of hot java and informal conversation at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 14 in the Graham Central Coffee Shop. The coffee shop is located on Graham Park Drive, near the entrance to Graham Park, just off Rochester Road. This casual, community-based conversation series, which will be held monthly at different sites throughout the township, provides local residents with an opportunity to hear first-hand what Cranberry's municipal government is thinking about doing, what it's working on now, or what it has recently completed. Chuck Favata, a former teacher and nationally-recognized presenter on cyber safety, will present two Internet safety programs for Seneca Valley parents this week. There will be a meeting for parents of students in kindergarten through sixth grade at 7 tonight at the Haine Middle School cafeteria. Superintendent to Join Cranberry Manager for Coffee Date with the Public

Informal meetings will offer township manager Jerry Andree and Seneca Valley Superintendent Tracy Vitale a chance to meet township residents.

Jerry Andree will kick off his informal coffee dates with the public for 2012 with a very special guest on Saturday. Seneca Valley Superintendent Tracy Vitale will join Andree from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Graham Central Coffee House and Café for a little Q&A with residents. Andree said he invited Vitale,who became Seneca Valley’s superintendent in September, because of the benefits he sees in meeting with the public in an informal-style setting to address issues and hear people’s concerns. This is the third year in a row Andree has met with residents for coffee. “I’ve found it to be a very positive experience,” he said. “People are very nice, and they’re very open.” Although the gatherings started off taking place in coffee shops, the …
