After hours of searching, thoughtful deliberation, and minor frostbite, you found the perfect evergreen to take home for Christmas. You lugged the tree through snow, across hills and secured it tightly to the hood of your car. And, once home, you squeezed the large tree through at least two doorways, leaving a long trail of pine needles behind. The next few hours were spent decorating the tree with lights, garland and with what may seem like hundreds of ornaments. Now, it is a Christmas tree. You finally stood back and admired the hard work and dedication you put into it — at least for about three weeks. Now that the holidays are over, that perfect, full tree has began to resemble the sparse, sad Charlie Brown tree, hasn't it? It's time …

Grupp's Christmas Trees has been supplying families with trees for almost 30 years.

Whether people cut down their own tree or select a fresh cut tree from the stand, it's a rewarding task and a memorable experience — despite the cold. Jack and Nancy Grupp …

You answer could benefit a non-profit organization this holiday season.
If you've been to the Cranberry Township Municipal Center lately, you surely have noticed the forest of unique Christmas trees taking up residence in the hallways of the building. But these aren't just any old trees. Each one was decorated by a different non-profit organization around Cranberry Township in a fun way that reflects their group. The tree by the Cranberry Public Library is topped with a red and white striped hat made popular by Dr. Seuss in his literary classic, The Cat in the Hat. The tree by Gleaners Food Bank is covered in plastic food ornaments, and a tree by The Humane Society of Butler County has photos of dogs and cats. For a donation of one dollar, residents can vote for their preferred fir. Just inform the township's …
