Commenters express outrage on the business’s Facebook page after some of the company-owned restaurants post signs prohibiting guns on the premises.
Buffalo Wild Wings is attracting controversy after some of the chain’s company-owned restaurants began posting signs banning guns on the property. KDKA reports photos taken at restaurants around the nation are popping up on social media sites of signs that say guns are not allowed inside the buildings. The move has sparked outrage on the company’s official Facebook page. "It's your right to disarm your customers as is our right to go eat elsewhere from now on to prevent becoming a victim,” said one poster. “I changed banks for the same reason.” In a statement to KDKA, Buffalo Wild Wings' corporate headquarters said that while the company “respects the right of individuals to carry firearms. One of our top priorities is the comfort, safety …

The live radio show with Craig Wolfley will be held at Buffalo Wild Wings over the next two weeks.
It wasn't just the food and beer that attracted patrons to the Buffalo Wild Wings in Cranberry Township on Monday. The restaurant provided the venue for radio and television personality and former Pittsburgh Steelers player Craig Wolfley as he interviewed Steelers linebacker Lawrence Timmons during WDVE's Chalk Talk show. The pair also will be at the Cranberry location from 7 to 8 p.m on the following two Mondays to do the live show. After that, Chalk Talk will take turns being broadcast at Buffalo Wild Wing locations in Gibsonia, Wilkins Township, West Mifflin, and Robinson Township. Joshua Haas, account executive at Clear Channel Sports Marketing, said this is the third year WDVE has partnered with the Steelers and Buffalo Wild Wings for…

Sports bar serves up food and drinks, and TV sets, some of which sit atop other TVs.
Buffalo Wild Wings is a chain restaurant with more than 650 locations in 42 states. It specializes in wings with 14 signature sauces as well as other casual foods. It's a popular spot for people of all ages. The Cranberry restaurant, which opened March 27, is the newest location in Pennsylvania. Overview: The first thing you notice about the Buffalo Wild Wings in Cranberry is that it's loud. Not the people -- it was practically empty when we arrived -- but the music. It's turned up to a decibel level that makes it almost impossible to carry on a conversation without yelling. But friendly people meet you at the door, including Joe the manager, and you're given a choice of sitting in the restaurant area or lounge. The restaurant area has …

The restaurant had its grand opening on Wednesday.
After months of construction, Buffalo Wild Wings held its grand opening on Wednesday. The restaurant is located on Old Freedom Road in the former Hollywood Video store. While there was a crowd for lunch, general manager Mike Tunstall hopes the restaurant grows even busier this weekend because of the Final Four college basketball tournament, which will be shown on the venue's many televisions. "This weekend is going to be busy," he said. "I'm really looking forward to it." Buffalo Wild Wings opens at 11 a.m. and closes at midnight on weekdays. On weekends, the restaurant is open until 2 a.m.

The Zoning Hearing Board gives the restaurant permission to erect two signs on the former Hollywood Video.
The Cranberry Township Zoning Hearing Board saw the sign – and it read Buffalo Wild Wings. At Monday’s meeting, the board approved a second sign for the Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant under construction at the former Hollywood Video in the Cranberry Shoppes shopping plaza, located at the intersection of Route 19 and Freedom Road. Under township ordinance, businesses located within a shopping center are permitted only one sign each on the building. Because the Buffalo Wild Wings occupies a corner space at the plaza, the board will allow a sign on the front of the building, which faces Route 19, as well as another on the side of the building, which faces Old Freedom Road. Jeff Musher, the township’s code enforcement officer, said the maximum …
