Dick’s Sporting Goods
For this week’s Readers’ Choice poll, we asked residents to vote for their favorite place in the area to buy sporting goods. With a Dick’s Sporting Goods Store located in the center of Cranberry, it came as no surprise that the retail giant won this week’s poll. In fact, people in the area must really love the store because a two-story Dick’s Sporting Goods—purported to be the largest in the world—currently is under construction on Route 228 in what will be the Cranberry Crossroads shopping center. The Dick’s Sporting Goods will be the anchor to a plaza that also will contain office space and a GetGo by Giant Eagle. Thank you to all those who voted in our poll. We’ll be back Monday with another Readers’ Choice question.

Vote for your favorite store in the Patch Poll.
For this week’s Readers’ Choice poll, we asked residents to name their favorite place to buy sporting goods in the area. Below are several nominees that readers and Cranberry Patch editor Jessica Sinichak suggested. The rest is now in your hands. You have until 5 p.m. Friday to vote, which is easy to do. Pick your favorite in the poll and feel free to leave a comment below. You can also find your favorite in Patch Places and write a review. If you believe we are missing some great places not on the list, nominate them! We'll announce the winner soon after voting ends on Friday. While it’s sometimes hard to believe, the spring sports season already is here—and we’re already thinking about summer activities With that in mind, we’re soliciting nominations for the best place in the Cranberry area to buy sporting goods for this week’s Readers’ Choice poll. Some businesses that immediately come to mind are—of course—Dick’s Sporting Goods, Walmart, Trek Bicycle Store and your local booster clubs. Nearby, there's also Dunham's in Gibsonia and Ski North and All That Jazz Dance & Fitness in Pine Township. What do you think? We’ll accept nominations on where to head in the Cranberry Patch until 5 p.m. Wednesday. On Thursday, we’ll publish a poll in which readers can vote for their favorite place to buy sporting goods…
