Seneca Valley Dominates Norwin 47-0

The Raiders start the season with a decisive victory over the Knights.

Seneca Valley's first football game of the season kicked off in sweltering heat with a procession of veterans who came to NexTier Stadium to help honor the fallen on the upcoming 10th anniversary of the of the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11 2001.   They were greeted by a standing ovation for their service to the country. As the pre-game ceremony gave way to the contest on the gridiron the crowd was generous with their enthusiasm -- and for good reason. An aggressive Raider defense punished the Norwin quarterback at every turn, resulting in an interception. Seneca Valley was unable to convert this into a trip to the end zone.
