Evans City Middle School
724-538-8800
Evans City Middle School teaches a student body of roughly 500 fifth and sixth graders who share the building with the Evans City Elementary School. Led by principal Thomas Hallman and assistant principal Dr. Sandra Krivak-Fowler, the middle school prides itself on an innovative anti-bullying program that calls for students, faculty, staff, administrators and community members to work together. As a team, these groups implement the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program. In addition to a comprehensive educational program, E.C.M.S. offers a special education curriculum that includes gifted education, special education, speech and language support and education for the visually and hearing-impaired. School grounds feature the Little Creek Nature Trail, which was built and currently maintained by students, faculty, staff, parents and local community members.
