Are You Going? Soergel's Fall Festival, Cranberry Craft Beer Tap Fest, Evans City Pancake Breakfast

Patch has the scoop on events taking place around the community.

Soergel Orchards annual fall festivals begin Saturday, Sept 21 and continue through Sunday, Oct. 27.

The festivals are so popular, they have prompted the Franklin Park Police department to issue a warning about traffic congestion on Interstate 79, Route 910, and Brandt School Road.

The festivals are every weekend from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Admission is free.

  • Hot apple cider
  • Pick your own pumpkin from the pumpkin patch

Mars/Cranberry Craft Beer Tap Fest

Featuring more than 60 craft beers, the event takes place from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 at the Double Wide Grill in Adams Township. 

Tickets cost $30 in advance or $35 on the day of the event. The event is scheduled to go on rain or shine, as a weatherproof tent will be set up. 

Oktoberfest in Evans City

Oktoberfest will take place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20 and Saturday, Sept. 21 and from 12 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22 in Evans City.

A parade featuring floats, antique cars, music, local Scouts and more kicks off at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21.


Evans City Pancake Breakfast

The Evans City Volunteer Fire Department will host and all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 at the fire hall. 

Prices are $5 dollars for adults and $3 dollars for 10 and younger. The price includes coffee, juice, and milk.
