1. Seneca Valley School Board Meeting
What’s going on in your child’s school? Find out in person when meet at 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9 at the Intermediate High School in Jackson Township.
2. Animal Communicator at Cranberry Library
Animal communicator Renee Takacs will delight the crowd with her observations at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10 at the Cranberry Public Library.
Takacs will share experiences from her unique ability as an animal communicator. She has more than 20 years of experience as an intuitive consultant, workshop facilitator and lecturer.
She also conducts private consultations for people and pets both nationally and internationally.
3. Taste of the Chamber
Get ready for good eats! The annual Taste of the Chamber will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11 at the Cranberry Township Municipal Center on Rochester Road.
The event features food samples from restaurants around the northern region of Pittsburgh. The cost at the door is $15 for adults and $10 for children age 12 and younger.
4. Cranberry Conversations and Coffee
Get a behind the scene's tour of Cranberry’s sewage treatment plant with township manager Jerry Andree as part of the monthly Conversations and Coffee group.
The meet up will take place from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Brush Creek Treatment Plant, located at intersection of Powell and Glen Eden roads.

5. Veteran Recognition Night at Seneca Valley
Seneca Valley will hold its annual Veteran Recognition Night during the first home football game of the season on Friday, Sept. 13 at NexTier Stadium on the secondary campus in Jackson Township.
Veterans and active military personnel from the community are invited and will be given free tickets to the game as well as special seating accommodations. They also will be recognized on the track prior to kick-off.
