Zelienople Boy Scout Troop Welcomes New Leader

Dr. Jeff Wahl was Scoutmaster for 10 years.

Boy Scout Troop 457, which is sponsored by the English Lutheran Church in Zelienople, held an installation ceremony in July to goodbye to Dr. Jeff Wahl.

Wahl, who served as Scoutmaster for the past 10 years, earned his Eagle Scout Award with this troop.

He welcomed fellow Eagle Scout Jason Stewart as the new Scoutmaster.

With more than 50 boys in the troop, and a full schedule of activities, Stewart is well-prepared from his past involvement with Cub Scout Pack 457, according to a statement.

The Troop is sponsoring a chicken barbecue on Sat., Sept. 14 at Zelienople’s Four Corners Park. 

Dinners are $10 each and may be picked up from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. The park is located at the intersection of Main Street and Grandview Avenue.
