Service At Your Door: Cranberry Sunrise Rotary Club to Collect Food Donations Saturday

Volunteers will traverse Cranberry's neighborhoods to pick up donations left outside residents' doors and deliver them to Gleaners Food Bank.

Get your groceries and other goodies ready. The Rotary Club of Cranberry Township Sunrise is conducting a neighborhood food collection at 10 a.m. Saturday to benefit the Gleaners Food Bank in Cranberry. 

In the last week, volunteers have delivered fliers in shopping bags to more than 5,000 homes in Cranberry Township.

Residents who wish to donate are asked to place their donation in a bag and place it near the front of their house in a location that is visible from the street. A volunteer will collect the donation and deliver it to the food bank.

If donations are not collected by noon on Saturday, residents are asked to call 724-776-9860.

Residents may also bring donations to the in February and March and place them inside one of the bins at the caring center.
