Cranberry's Little Grand Marshal Heralds in Fireworks Display

Second-grader Zac Tuza was chosen to kick off fireworks during Cranberry Community Days.

For Zac Tuza, was downright explosive.

Cranberry Township Supervisor Mike Manipole said the second-grader at was one of the top finishers in his age group at the Saturday morning during Community Days at Cranberry's

The Cranberry Township Community Chest selected him in a drawing to be the grand marshal of Community Days.

But that wasn't all.

Manipole said Zac also got push down the plunger that set off Saturday's Pyrotech fireworks display.

Manipole said this is the first time a grand marshal has been chosen for the event and that the township plans to make it a tradition for Community Day events.
