What's Closed and What's Open on Memorial Day?

Township and government offices are closed.

In observance of the Memorial Day holiday, government offices in Cranberry Townships will be closed on Monday.

Seneca Valley also will be closed, as will Butler County, state and federal offices and courts. Banks and liquor stores will not be open either.

The U.S. Postal Service will not have regular mail delivery or collection, but Express Mail will be delivered.

Waste Management, which collects trash and recycling for Cranberry, will be closed Monday. Trash and recycling collection will be delayed one day this week. 

Pennsylvania Department of Transportation driver's license and photo centers will be closed, although some services will be available on its website.

The Port Authority of Allegheny County's bus, T and incline service will operate on holiday schedules for Memorial Day.

Port Authority's Customer Service phone line will hold holiday hours from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Downtown Service Center will be closed on Memorial Day.

Light rail service will operate as two-car trains throughout much of the weekend due to the Pirates home games. Extra T service and subway local service will be added for high-attendance games.
