Cranberry Makes Learning a ‘Snap’ at LEGOs Camp

Youths will be able to create superheroes, wizards or ninjas in the Snapology program

Pull on your spandex, you may need it this summer in a snap.

Snapology is a growing family of child-centric businesses that uses LEGO bricks and similar building tools in imaginative ways to combine play with learning to teach math, science, technology, engineering and heroic fantasy themes.

This summer, Cranberry is hosting a series of project-themed Snapology programs, which began June 17.  

Starting in July, children age 5 through 12 will be able to enroll in their choice of classes to create superheroes, wizards, or ninjas during four three-hour sessions that week.

The LEGO Combat Robots class, for kids age 7 through 14, will build agile warriors whose sturdiness will ultimately determine whose robot will be victorious in combat.

A program fee of $160 ($145 for Cranberry residents with a Resident Discount ID Card) is payable at the time of registration and covers all material used in the class.
