Project Hope

Bountiful bags of Hope!

There is a great project going on in the Seneca Valley area called Project Hope.

There are churches, schools, individual groups, service clubs, businesses and many other people involved in making this a great endeavor.

If you've ever had to make a rush trip to Children's Hospital, not having time to pack things that you might need for an unexpected stay with your child, then you would have possibly received a Hope Bag.

Project Hope is it's own entity and Project Hope Of Zelienople, Inc. and Kim Sebring is the lead person.

St. Peter's Reformed Church in Zelienople has graciously given Kim and her group a room to store all the donations they receive.

Recently, I had the privilege of helping to pack the Hope bags. There were 20 people there and we packed 60 bags.

That's the number Kim has chosen to have packed each month. When these 60 bags get delivered to Children't Hospital this week, the total bags the Zelienople group will have sent is 5,660.
