Video: No Super Seven ... This Year
The Steelers faithful gathered throughout the north to cheer on their team, but this time there was no happy ending.
The Steelers Nation dressed in their black and gold finest, waved their Terrible Towels and gave their all to the team Sunday that provided fans with one heck of an exciting football season.
At Primanti Brothers in Cranberry Township, Strikers Sports Bar in Zelienople, and the Dive Bar & Grill in Wexford, they cheered, then groaned, then cheered some more as they crossed their fingers for a last-minute miracle that would allow the Steelers to grab that seventh ring.
Unfortunately, this time there was no last minute reprieve for the Steelers as the Green Bay Packers went on to win Super Bowl XLV. Maybe next year will be lucky number 7?
