Former Seneca Valley Standout Set to Start for Maryland

Quarterback C.J. Brown has spent two seasons on the sideline.

After breaking his collarbone, tearing an ACL in his right knee and missing two seasons, C.J. Brown is set to be the University of Maryland's starting quarterback, according to the Tribune Review.

The NCAA will allow the former Seneca Valley star to play through 2014, an extra year, due to his missed seasons.

Brown has been working extra hard while on the mend to get healthy and to earn his degree. He already graduated in December and is now pursuing a master's in supply chain management.
