Former Pirates Champion Kent Tekulve Swings into Cranberry Giant Eagle Friday

Tekulve will greet fans and sign autographs.

The current Pittsburgh Pirates season may be on an upswing, but Kent Tekulve can remember what it’s like to be a true champion.

A former right-handed relief pitcher, Tekulve was a member of the 1979 World Series champion Pirates.

Tekulve will be at the Cranberry Giant Eagle on Route 19 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday to meet with fans and sign autographs.
