14th Annual Lake Arthur Regatta

Experience the best of water, air and land at the 14th annual Lake Arthur Regatta Saturday and Sunday, August 4th and 5th at Moraine State Park in Portersville. All activities will be taking place on Lake Arthur's South Shore, Pleasant Valley Beach area. The event is free and open to the public.

Old favorites such as Dead Fish Polo are back, but this year many new activities will be featured.
Event highlights include:

  • Helicopter Rides by Lancaster Helicopters - Throughout both days
  • Allegheny Brass Band presents "Brass Blast" - Aug. 4th 8 PM
  • Fireworks - Aug. 4th 9:30 PM
  • World Championship Puddle Duck Race - Aug. 5th 10 AM

"This year we were able to bring in some unique attractions while still featuring those the Regatta-goers know and love. The Regatta will have an activity for everyone and that's something to get excited about," said Mike Hall, Chairman of the Lake Arthur Regatta.

Find everything from boat races and various demonstrations - including stand up paddle boarding - to an assortment of live music performances ranging from classic rock to steel drum bands. Plenty of family friendly activities are available including a children's Lego building contest, toy boat building workshops and bicycle rodeo. Moraine State Park's premier attraction, Nautical Nature, will be offering mini cruises around Lake Arthur throughout the event. Food and craft vendors will also be on site both days of the festival.
