UPDATE: WPIAL Football Matchups: Seneca Valley Raiders to Take on Penn Hills Indians Friday in Plum

The WPIAL releases playoff pairings Monday evening.

It’s official, the will take on the Penn Hills Indians Friday at Plum Senior High School.

The game originally was scheduled to take place at Penn Hills High School. The location has since changed to Plum's football field.

The WPIAL released its playoff pairings Monday evening. The top seeds went to (Class AAAA), Central Valley (Class AAA), Aliquippa (Class AA) and Clairton (Class A).

No. 9-seed Seneca Valley has a record of 7-2 for the season. The no. 8-seed Penn Hills has a record of 5-4.

The first round of matchups all will take place at 7:30 p.m. Friday and lead to the final showdown at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh on Nov. 26.

Here’s how the rest of the WPIAL Class AAAA pairings shake out according to the MSA Sports Network:

No. 1 North Allegheny Tigers (9-0) vs. no. 16 Fox Chapel Foxes (3-6) at North Allegheny High School.

No. 4 Penn-Trafford Warriors (9-0) vs. no. 13 Bethel Park Black Hawks (4-5) at Penn-Trafford High School.

No. 5 Gateway Gators (7-2) vs. no. 12 (5-4) at Gateway High School.

No. 2 Pittsburgh Central Catholic Vikings (9-0) vs. no. 15 Peters Township Indians (4-5) at Fox Chapel High School.

No. 7 Mount Lebanon Blue Devils (6-3) vs. no. 10 Woodland Hills Wolverines (6-3) at Mount Lebanon High School.

No. 3 Upper St. Clair Panthers (8-1) vs. no. 14 Connellsville Falcons (5-4) at Upper St. Clair High School.

No. 6 (7-2) vs. no. 11 (6-3) at Erie McDowell High School.
