SVMS Mathcounts Team Wins First Place

The Seneca Valley Middle School earned six of the top 10 individual scores at the Grove City competition.

Seneca Valley Middle School students returned as winners from the Mathcounts competition at Grove City College on Feb. 12.

The team of Michael Kolor, Greg McKibbin, Cole Davis, and Nick Francino took first place overall.

Team members Rachael Tollerton, Carolyn Palaski, Paige Montrose, Rebecca Danik, and Siona Sharma also competed as individuals.

The Seneca Valley Middle School earned six of the top 10 individual scores: Michael Kolor took first place, Greg McKibbin took second, followed by Rebecca Danik, Nick Francino, Cole Davis, and Siona Sharma, respectively, with fifth, sixth, seventh, and 10th places.
