Snow Causes Cancellations, Closes Seneca Valley School District

Cranberry also cancels programs at the municipal center due to Wednesday's snowy weather.

It's a snow day for Seneca Valley students.

The district has cancelled classes for Wednesday, March 6 because of the inclement weather.

Seneca Valley will make up today's school closure on Monday, March 11. Yes, that means school will now be in session on Monday.

St. Kilian Parish School in Cranberry, which follows Seneca Valley for closings and delays, also is closed.

In addition, Cranberry's Parks & Recreation Department has canceled a number of activities for the day. They are:

  • Morning Group Fitness Classes
  • Center for Early Education
  • Playcenter
  • Preschool Combo Class at 10 a.m.
  • 2 1/2 Tot Dance Class at 11:15 a.m.
  • Playtime Pals
  • Kids Club
  • Senior Center Daytime Programs and Lunch

Cancelations for Cranberry's evening programs will be reviewed by 4 p.m., according to the township.
