Rowan Elementary Raises Money for Highmark Caring Place
After fundraising throughout the school year, the school donated more than $3,500 to the center for grieving children.
On behalf of students, parents, faculty and staff, teachers Lynn Dobrick and Mike Manipole on Monday presented a $3,508.78 check to Fasy Greevy of the Highmark Caring Place in Warrendale.
The money was raised throughout the school year during collections at the school’s movie night, casual day collections and.
The money will be used for those in need at the Caring Place, which supports grieving children, adolescents and their families. For more information about the Caring Place click here.
