Seneca Valley Students Sing Their Way to Honors Chorus
The district hits a high note with 18 students making the choir this year.
There’s something to sing about at Seneca Valley.
After an Oct. 4 audition at Westminster College, 18 Seneca Valley students were selected for the Pennsylvania Music Education Association District 5 Honors Chorus.
Students from across Beaver, Butler, Mercer and Lawrence counties also auditioned to be a part of the prestigious choir. Seneca Valley placed in the top 12 of their selection. The district also earned four of the eight first chairs available in the chorus.

Honors Choir will have two full days of practice Nov. 1 and Nov. 2 prior a performance at 2 p.m. Saturday Nov. 3 at 2pm at Westminster College. The cost is $3 per person.
