Seneca Valley Students Earn ‘Top Dog’ Status in Poster Contest

Animal Friends sponsored the contest.

Two students recently won the top honors in a poster contest sponsored by Animal Friends of Pittsburgh. The school, which hosts an annual donation drive for the animal shelter, also was pleased to have several students earn honorable mentions in the contest.

Congratulations to the following students:

Hannah Beaudoin: First place in the seventh-grade category

Hannah Hale: First place in the eighth-grade category

The winning posters will be displayed at Animal Friends shelter in Ohio Township for the remainder of the year.

Along with teachers Traci Kuntz and Tabatha Karman, assistant principal Andrea Peck organized the “PAWS” activities.
