Seneca Valley Receives $15,000 Safe Schools Grant

The money will be used to fund anti-bullying training and programs.

Thanks to a Safe Schools Office of the Pennsylvania Department of Education grant Seneca Valley will continue to train staff and bring additional anti-bullying programs to its schools.

The district recently was notified it will receive a $15,000 safe school grant to support three projects, according to a  statement.

The money will allow Seneca Valley to provide student assistance program training for 10 additional staff members, train three staff members to become trainers in non-violent crisis intervention and provide a year-end wrap-up event/assembly for each school's anti-bullying program.
