Seneca Valley Middle Schoolers 'Paws for a Cause'
Animal Friends names adoptable pet "Raider" in honor of school.
Along with members of the Principal's Advisory Council, Andrea Peck, assistant principal at , and Traci Kuntz, a seventh-grade science teacher, held a fundraising effort before school ended in June.
The “Paws for a Cause” project organized by students and staff raised more than $100 in cash for Animal Friends and collected approximately $500 in pet supplies.
Because of the donations, Animal Friends has named an adoptable pet "Raider" in honor of the school district mascot.
