Seneca Valley Hires New Transportation Director

Wexford resident Jim Pearson replaces longtime director.

On Monday, school officials approved the hiring of a new transportation director.

Jim Pearson beat out 21 other applicants to replace longtime director Kevin Prady, who is retiring this month after more than 21 years with the district. Pearson will be paid an annual salary of $70,000.

Pearson, of Wexford, comes to Seneca Valley from the Deer Lakes School District, where he served as assistant principal at Deer Lakes Middle School for the last three years. Prior to that, he was assistant principal at Hampton Middle School in the Hampton Township School District, and the dean of students at Hampton High School.
