Raider Royalty: Seneca Valley's 2011 Homecoming Court

The district celebrates homecoming later this week. Plus, send us your photos.

Hear ye, hear ye. Now that we've got your attention, we'd like to introduce Seneca Valley's homecoming court for 2011.

The school's homecoming festivities kick off Tuesday with various activities. This year's theme is “Out of This World.”

The following are spirit week theme days:

Tuesday: College T-shirt Day

Wednesday: Comfy Day (sweat pants, slippers, etc.)

Thursday: Tie-Dye Day

Friday: Raider Day

The high school will host a homecoming carnival and parade at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Thursday. Food and craft booths from various clubs and sports will be on hand in the parking lot area outside NexTier Stadium. The parade will include fire trucks, sports floats, class officer floats and homecoming court convertibles.

At 1:45 p.m. on Friday, students will compete in “Minute to Win It” games during the senior high school’s pep rally, which will also feature performances by the cheerleaders, dance team, band and pom-poms.

The homecoming football game begins at 7 p.m. against the Shaler Titans. This year's king and queen will be crowned during pre-game festivities.
