Poll: Will Jerry Sandusky Get a Fair Trial?

One of the most high-profile trials of the year began Monday and Patch wants to know if you think former Penn State assistant coach Jerry Sandusky will be treated fairly.

Prosecutors claim Sandusky groomed boys he met through The Second Mile, the charity he founded for at-risk youth in 1977, then attacked them—in some cases in his own home or inside university athletic facilities.

The former coach is charged with a total of 52 counts of sexually abusing 10 boys. Sandusky has denied the charges.

Jurors will not be sequestered in the trial—which is expected to last three weeks— meaning they can spend nights and weekends at home. But the judge gave strict orders for them to stay clear of any news reports, as well as social media.
