And, just like the last time, the Raiders were victorious over the Tigers, this time with a 2-0 win.

They girls played amid a sea of pink balloons, pink ribbons, and special pink Raider jerseys in honor of "Kicking Out Breast Cancer" night. The Raiders (12-1-1) and Tigers (8-5-0) currently are the number one and number two teams in AAA Section 2.

Less than three weeks ago, the Raiders dominated the Tigers , and the Lady Tigers were determined to not have a repeat performance. Vying to maintain a spot in the WPIAL playoffs, North Allegheny was very physical. Their players controlled the midfield early in the match-up.

SV's front line was caught off sides more than once by a well-trained NA defense. The Raiders rallied, picked up their passing game, and got several shots off before the half ended. There was no score on either side as the teams headed to their respective benches at the half.

Getting past Seneca Valley's defense this season has been no easy task.  The starting back line led by senior captains Raegan Dobbins and Kailey Lucci, junior Melissa Lynskey, sophomore Kelly Norton, and freshman keeper Jess Neill have only allowed seven goals to date.

Scoring opportunities increased dramatically for both teams in the second half, and both keepers got to test their skills. With 29:54 left in the game, Seneca midfielder Katie Riley lobbed a shot from the 30-yard-line that skimmed the gloves of NA's  goalkeeper.

Forward Morgan Williams, who assisted Riley's goal, scored a goal of her own on an assist by teammate Alex Bilka 16 minutes later.

Final score:  2-0
