1. Seneca Valley School Board Meeting

What’s going on in your child’s school? Find out in person when Seneca Valley school officials meet at 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5 at the Intermediate High School in Jackson Township.

2. Cranberry Board of Supervisors: Budget Meeting

The Board of Supervisors will hold a 2013 Budget Meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 13 at 5:30 p.m. in the Administration Room 203.

3. Santa’s First Stop in Cranberry

Santa Claus is coming to town! Help Santa light the tree and enjoy holiday crafts, activities and refreshments as Santa makes his first stop in Cranberry at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov 16 at the Cranberry Township Municipal Center.

4. Cranberry EMS Hosts Save a Life Saturday

Cranberry Township Emergency Medical Service will host a CPR training event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17 at the Cranberry Township Municipal Center in the council chambers.

The EMS staff will be teaching the “Hands Only” CPR course from the American Heart Association. There is no fee for the training and all participants will receive a certificate of completion for attending. No appointment is required.

5. Eye Kandy Fashion Show for Rosie Hope

Eye Kandy boutique in Harmony will host a fashion show to help raise money for the Rosie Hope charity from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17. Rosie Hope is a charity founded by local 11-year-old Charlee Dawson. Each Christmas, Charlee raises money to buy presents for local families in need and then leaves them on their doorstep on Christmas Eve.

The fashion show includes food from local restaurants, a Chinese auction, live entertainment and vendor tables. Tickets are $5 in advance or $10 at the door.
