Haine Middle School's Art Show Features "Empty Bowls"

The  Haine Middle School's Art Show features almost 7,000 pieces of art done by students in grades 5 and 6, one of the biggest exhibits ever!

Every student made a clay bowl for the Empty Bowls Project, a fundraiser for the local food bank.  Empty Bowls is an international project that began in 1990 by an art teacher/potter to help with a fundraiser luncheon at his high school.

All told, there will be close to 800 bowls for purchase during the art show! Any and all are welcome to come and shop!  All proceeds willl go to the Gleaners Food Bank right in Cranberry!
