On Saturday, April 14 at 1:00 pm at the Robert A. Macoskey Center for Sustainable Systems Education and Research, Slippery Rock University, 247 Harmony Road, Slippery Rock, PA 16057, Marcellus Outreach Butler will sponsor an educational workshop presented by Group Against Smog and Pollution (GASP) and Clean Air Council that will provide individuals with the skills and information they need in order to participate in decisions about natural gas development, focusing on air quality issues.  The presenters will provide an overview of how natural gas operations may impact air quality and public health.  Attendees will learn how to monitor for potential air quality violations using their senses and how to report these issues.  The presenters will also train people on how to write meaningful comments on air permits, and how to request and participate in public hearings.
