'Significant Delays' Expected This Weekend on I-79 Near Cranberry Interchange

There will be single-lane traffic Saturday and Sunday.

Be on the lookout for orange cones this weekend – and some delays.

There will be single-lane traffic Saturday and Sunday if weather permits on Interstate 79 in both directions between the Cranberry (Exit 78) and Wexford (Exit 73) interchanges, according to a PennDOT District 11 statement.

Crews will be milling, paving and line painting on the approaches at the bridges over Warrendale-Bayne and Mingo roads. There will be restrictions from 6 a.m. Saturday through about 11 a.m. Sunday.
