I-79 Guide Rail Repairs Set for Today and Thursday

Weather permitting, the repairs will cover the area from the Wexford exit to the I-376 Parkway West interchanges.

Even in winter, you can run into delays on Interstate 79 because of roadwork.

Contractor crews will repair guide rails today and Thursday, weather permitting, and that means motorists can expect short, intermittent delays as shoulders and single lanes are closed, PennDOT District 11 announced.

Work and restrictions will occur in both directions between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day on I-79 between Wexford (Exit 73) and I-376 Parkway West (Exit 59) interchanges, said PennDOT.
