1. Cranberry Planning Advisory Commission

Get the scoop on what developments are in the works for Cranberry. The commission meets at 5:30 p.m. at the on Rochester Road. On the agenda is land development plans for the new on 65 acres on Route 228.

2. Share Your Revitalization Ideas for Downtown Zelienople

The public is welcome to attend a meeting on improvements to Zelienople’s downtown district, 7 p.m. Thursday at in Zelienople. There will be a slide show on ideas from E G & G Inc. and an introduction of the borough’s revitalization members. For more information, call Zelienople-Harmony Chamber of Commerce member Jen Ackerman at 724-452-5232.

3. Cranberry Board of Supervisors Meeting

Find out what’s going on in township government. Cranberry’s board of supervisors will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday inside council chambers at the . At the meeting, the board will be updated on efforts to create bicycle and pedestrian connections through partnerships with developers and other initiatives.

4. Meeting on Prayer in the Church and Family at Christ Bible Church

Dr. Don Whitney, associate professor of biblical spirituality and the senior associate dean of the school of theology at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kentucky, will speak at the on Rochester Road in Cranberry. Event times are 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday. To register, email Bethany Hardwig at bhardwig@rpts.edu. A $20 donation at the door is appreciated, according to church officials.

5. Spaghetti Dinner to Benefit the Chiusano Family

The public is welcome to attend of Cranberry. A married mom of three children, Deana Chiusano recently had a costly stem cell transplant. She was diagnosed last April with multiple myeloma, a form of blood cancer that develops in the bone marrow. The event will be held 6 p.m.-10 p.m. Saturday at the Mars VFW on Mars-Valencia Road in Mars and will feature music, games, raffles and more. Admission is $10, with all proceeds benefiting the Chiusano family.
