Expect Slowdowns Monday on Route 28 Southbound

Crews will close a lane while they trim trees and vegetation near Millvale interchange.

If you're heading toward Pittsburgh on Monday, plan extra time if you're traveling southbound on Route 28.

Crews will be trimming trees and vegetation above the wall near the Millvale [Exit 3] off-ramp, weather permitting, PennDOT District 11 announced. Restrictions will occur from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

That means Route 28 southbound will be down to a single lane in the area approaching the Millvale interchange.
