Cranberry Parks and Recreation Program Registration Opens Saturday

Summer programs include aquatic lessons, crafts, camps and more.

While it’s still spring, now is the time to register for summer programs and events happening around Cranberry.

Online and walk-in registration for the Cranberry Township parks and recreation department's summer schedule of camps, aquatic lessons, adult sports, crafts and fitness programs will open at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the Mail-in and telephone registrations will be accepted beginning at noon that day.

Online registrants will need an account number and a PIN number. To open an account, go to the Cranberry Township website by clicking here, or call the parks and recreation office at 724-776-4806, ext. 1129.

First-time registrants should allow as much as a week to receive the program information.

Cranberry residents are eligible for discounts on most township offerings with the free resident discount card, which is available with proof of residency at the customer service center inside the municipal building.

Program start dates vary throughout the season. Theat is scheduled to open May 26 for Memorial Day weekend.

Residents already should have received a comprehensive guide to all the township's programs, activities and summer events in the mail. The guide also is posted on the township's website.
